Heidi Montag: knowing Michael Bay

There's a clip floating around on Youtube featuring Heidi Montag purportedly filming an exhibition / demo tape for Michael Bay. Most of the sites reporting on the news are mocking Heidi Montag, and the Youtube video has garnered quite a few comments towards the effect that the video is pointless and that Heidi Montag is simply embarrassing herself.

Well I think Heidi Montag has a better handle on Michael Bay than most of the commentators on the subject I've seen so far. Now, I don't know if anybody has actually watched a Michael Bay film... If you haven't, I suggest looking up the Armageddon review by Nostalgia Chick, Part 1 and Part 2. I'd also look at the Michael Bay Victory Secret's Commercial.

This is a movie maker who focus's on a few select points in pretty much all his movies:

• Big Genitalia
• Big Explosions
• Big Guns (goes with big explosions)
  
• Bad Acting

From the standpoint of what Michael Bay is known for, about the only way Heidi Montag could have made her clip at the firing range more desirable to Michael Bay would have been to have shot the clip while wearing a bikini... followed by jumping up and down on a trampoline. I'm sorry, but when I think Michael Bay, terms like good acting, good directing, subtlety, and interesting plot points are not what come to mind. Heidi Montag, or her agent, apparently actually have a handle on the concepts that make Michael Bay tick.
